Every dog is different, and Bites build with consistent daily use. Many owners notice changes in energy, digestive comfort or ease of movement within two to four weeks, while benefits for skin and coat, joints and immune resilience build cumulatively over six to twelve weeks. Calming support typically builds over four to eight weeks, and dogs with long-standing sensitivities may take longer. Stick to the daily amount for your dog’s weight for the best results.

Bonza’s plant-based recipes are formulated to meet and exceed adult dog nutritional requirements, and many owners of puppies and allergy-sensitive dogs already feed Bonza successfully. We’d still recommend checking with your vet before introducing any new food, including Bites, to a puppy or senior dog. Bites are a separate product to your regular Bonza food subscription, with their own renewal schedule based on your dog’s size rather than the feed plan calculated for their everyday meals. That means Bites don’t automatically bundle into your existing subscription, but if you’d like them added to your regular delivery anyway, just let us know and we can arrange it.

Some dogs are naturally cautious about new foods, a reluctance called food neophobia, so we recommend introducing anything new, including Bites, gradually over about 8 days (up to 10-12 days for fussier eaters). This process can take up to 10-12 days for fussier dogs.
